The evening began with Master of Ceremonies and Managing Editor of the Boston Herald Gustavo Leon grabbing guest’s full attention with his charm and style to welcome celebrity host Naturi Naughton star of the hit show Power to the stage.

Opening the show were timeless and elegant designs from Denise Hajjar that brought beauty and class starting with a sheer hombre look that flowed with the dominant piece of music played from Donna Summers. The collection ranged from glamour gowns, strong business looks, cocktail attire, furs and finished with a striking pose from model Tachou in a classic beige beaded dress from Hajjar.

Following were budding Boston talent like; Zjajah Creation who’s bold creations of traditional African looks showing golds and teals. Next up was Intriguing Hair Extensions who took a runway risk with some models wearing only strategic body paint and hair which most certainly gained the attention they were seeking. Coming out after was, Early Birds with pieces focused on winter wear highlighting leather snake skin jackets in jean and boot rugged outfits. Envu Bridal attire gave an isle showcase of lace, sequins, also silk with high hip cuts and deep low dropping busts. Finishing the segment was Chevalier Homme’s tight spandex bottoms for men, button down slack ensemble with a prep feel, also statements of a classic T and hombre scarfs that brought a European style to a classic white pant look.

After Intermission; Designer Angelica Timas opened her portion with an upbeat and inspiring Beyoncé dance number from her daughter Naysa Kaira. Commanding down the runway were sheer and sparkled dresses along with all white dramatic cuts. Fitted mustard and floral jumpers with sex appeal and classic couture taste showed for Timas’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
