East Coast Alpine Arrives Fashionably Late
This past Thursday was the latest edition of the Liberty Hotels “Fashionably Late” featureing East Coast Alpine styled by Kathy Benahrris and Scene&Style was on site for the event.
The night was one of the below zero temperatures haunting the city but still brought out some of Boston’s finest fashionistas; Shaunt Sarian a high-end handbag and accessories designer, Ivona Owens Owner of Ultima Moda Magazine, Sophie Weidhaas Dynasty Model and the Creative Director of Polished Magazine, budding designers and many more.
First to hit the redesigned jailhouse runway was a power couple’s look with classic charcoal grey pant with flashy red jacket for the lady and a similar look with small tones of the red on the overall suit for her hunk to show off their synced style.
Following was a playful pattern for the ladies; the ensemble featured a fluorescent pant, fur lined hooded jacket and long sleeve top that had a paint brush splashed look of colors to pull in the paint and jacket for a slope stylish look finished with googles, a ski must accessory.
The power couple hit the runway for a final time in trendy and tasteful lodge wear. For the gals it was a skull baby tee paired with a slightly saggy pant, fitted snow hat, always complimenting fur lined hooded jacket and creative fox tail pocket pant accessory that finished the look with flair. Her handsome other half was draped in Oakley; a classic black hooded sweatshirt with a flaming full of color bandanna tied around his neck, a bold yellow parker and calming the look down forest green pant.
Benharris brought many ski and slope styles down the Fashionably Late runway once again showing taste and sex appeal in the most difficult of styles, bulky layers. You can find a full album of looks from the evening on Scene&Style Facebook page under albums.
This was the second collaboration in the current ski season between Benharris and Owner of East Coast Alpine, John Sullivan. They started off by bringing back a live runway presentation to the Boston Ski and Snowboard Expo that had multiple shows all weekend and featured many slope celebrities.
