Boston Fashion Represented in the Heart of the City

Recently the award winning boutique, Bogosplit, gave their inhouse designers a platform to showcase their collections at the rustic and reborn rotundum in Faneuil Hall for their second annual Boston Fashion Extravaganza.

The evening began with guests welcomed into a high class presentation starting with a full length appetizers table of cheese, fruits, desserts. The room was impeccably set between the touch of Events by Taileen and red carpet ballon décor from Casasola JJ Designs. The vibe was set by DJ Sisko, MC for the event Soko and the runway awaited coordinated by Liya K Productions.

Opening the event was a live music performance from the designer himself, Black Dollar. The creator showed more than one craft of taking to the mix while his collection of comfort sweats featuring tribute to cities in the Commonwealth in bold blues, soft pinks, and staple solids.



Next was a Scene&Style favorite, Styles by Tahanee where the Queen of retro meets street. She showed classic boss looks for the ladies. Her classic eye of bell bottom in sleeves and pants always brings a couture flow with a cultured vibe.



Following was designer Pattee Silver with fabulous fringe and flowers. Silver brings all the girl fun leveling up her presentation "time after time." She’s focal on floral decor and fringe trim with her hand sewn talent. Her current collection showed seasonal must have denim. The funk retro vibe demands attention and her strategic stitching commands respect.



Bogo Split is a boutique branded by Boston talent. Established designers were heavy in the line up and as a veteran it was inspiring to see the fresh take on the upcoming scene of seven aspiring creators. Regal Rain embraced the old school staple of fashion of pairing umbrellas with style. Ik Eco Jewelry added that dapper accessory must have to finish off the outfit. Bellanistas brought pleats and pleather strategic stitching gave a sweet seductive look. Liza Clothing gave pure emotion in her collection of dresses with deep textures dripping in authentic accessories from Whirl  Wind Jewels. Local talent ran deep with, Dapluxe who doesn’t just sew sick street wear he dropped it down on the mic. The dark side of fashion has a niche of all shades, Valentina Venturaxx showed seductive style in satin. Werthe by Jem had that special red carpet occasion covered with her classic elegance gowns.



Lopping back to veteran status was Ellie Jian Millinery is more than a dapper woman; she spreads grace with donning the crown of all with her meticulously crafted art. From a simply top hat to the feathered head dresses her pieces are inspired by cultural traditions and simply fabulous accents to impeccably designed outfits. Following was a clutch that cures from Bliss by Mel. She doesn’t just create cute purses they are crocheted to serve the soul. Her journey started as an outlet to help heal that turned into a collection with couture stature. Each pocketbook stands for a statement. I personally have never seen crochet look so chic!

Pieces for any pleasure, from couture to everyday Designer Melina  knows how to dress a woman for any occasion! With her Lalla Bee Oscar ready dresses to her everyday line for the working warrior. She showed petal print full length gowns, a daring red button down top and pant all with impeccable tailoring a flow that are fit for a PowerPoint in the boardroom or an eye catching pause at a cocktail affair. The Boston Best designer for 2025 did not disappoint!

Closing the 2025 Boston Fashion Extravaganza runway was Sabrinao Ortega brought the shimmer and shine in her assortment of show stopping dresses. From a sheer thigh cut, popping shades of orange, bold blue , golden goddess and that impeccable beading catching the crowds eye.
