The city’s most fashionable party returned as the 2025 Boston Fashion Awards took place this past November, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Boston. Year after year the event celebrates the best in Boston’s fashion with a night of music, talent, and high style.

The evening featured an exciting lineup of performers, headlined by Dreion, the powerhouse vocalist best known from NBC’s “The Voice.” Joining the stage was soulful singer Hope Divine and high-energy percussionist Bam the Drummer, creating an unforgettable live entertainment experience for Boston’s fashion elite.

Hosted in the heart of the Theatre District, the Boston Fashion Awards has become a staple event uniting designers, stylists, models, photographers, media, and influencers. The show honors excellence, celebrates diversity, and shines a spotlight on the artistry that defines Boston’s fashion culture. It’s not a fashion show, it’s a fashion party!

The evening opened with an exclusive VIP cocktail hour, where guests mingled to a curated soundtrack by DJ Richie Beatz, setting a sophisticated tone for the night. Welcoming guests was Host Gustavo Leon and Co-Host Keyla Williams. The energy rose quickly as local “Voice” sensation Dreion delivered a powerful live performance that captivated the room and signaled the start of a spectacular show.

Once the awards presentations began, the runway ignited with talent. Designer VaVa Zadi opened the Boston Fashion Awards runway with suited statements.  The couture category winner showed his staple of high fashion power suits. Pieces of head to toe purple, golden shimmer, a full length fuchsia, 007 black fused with Ferrari, cerulean sparkle and a silk emerald for the gents with a midnight faux shoulder accent.

Following was Julia Zheng with playful patterns. This new style to the scene brought eye popping prints paired with Whirl Wind Jewelry. Fun and flirty was the focal point in soft florals. Zheng knew how to comprise and give class in each dress, mini’s had long sleeves and full lengths were cut off the shoulders to give each look that “Show Your True Colors” vibe.

Tribal patterns with modern edge made way from Solon Kollection and gave traditional taste in stunning stitching, styled frayed hem lines, bold cobalt blue, striking saffron, gold tones all in a focal pinstripe unisex line of suit jackets and dresses.

After was a brief intermission for guests to mingle while Bam the Drummer electrified the audience with a live percussion performance. Sheer and business chic reopened the runway from designer Samual Vartan. The SS26 assembly featured popping pinks, oranges, baby blues and that ravishing red. The line ranged from suits to swim and have that classic seduction from Vartan that has any lady looking her finest in the office or poolside.

Janby Collection showed focal on midnight couture proving that decades of designer heritage has not been lost through dapper collection. The crafted art from Malba seemed to be limitless with pieces from street style graffiti to gems sewn gowns. Each garment of work had its own distinctive style, the ladies paired with statuesque head dresses from Ellie Jian Millinery and the men’s suits stapled with the bull logo.

Old world gems dazzled from designer Liydia Romanchuck, the local School of Fashion Design graduate who closed the Boston fashion Awards runway with seductive cuts and sashes as focal points in her “Unstoppable” collection. The set was more than just fashion is was a trip to the theatre with soprano Hope Divine singing as the models swayed each look. Romanchuck is known for her couture style costumes fit for royalty. The gowns all dripping in crystals, sewn with creative design, and the carving of detail in the garments are world class.

The 2025 awards once again proved why it remains one of the city’s most anticipated annual events, bringing together artistry, culture, and community in a celebration worthy of Boston’s evolving fashion landscape. The Boston Fashion Awards is not a fashion show; it is a fashion party. See you all in 2026.
