Fit Fest 2023 Rocked Rebook Headquarters

Boston Marathon vibes were in full force at the Reebok headquarters in the Seaport District of the city a week prior to the running of the 127th event. Bright and early on a Saturday morning fitness hungry participants were given the opportunity to attend the first ever Fit Fest powered by FIFTH Wellness partnered with Reebok and The Greg Hill Foundation.

When you first arrived were rows of yummy treats filled with wellness or that boost to get your body moving. Vendors such as Playa Bowls provided complimentary acai bowls, Vester Café with that perfect kick of coffee. Also making an appearance was Cure, Culture Pop, BeBOLD Bars, The Half Cookie, and Chic Party Carts. It’s not a creditable event without Dunkin on site, Smart Water, AHA Drink, Gut Personal and it is not a party until Sam Adams and VELO Vodka have arrived.

Once you had that morning cup of coffee and fresh fruit it was time to hit the mats! The bootcamp style setting at Reebok Headquarters was geared up for a gut busting and booty toning workout. The schedule was grueling and exactly what Fit Fest stood for.

The city’s top professionals were there for live training, yoga, spin, dance, and the list was impressive. Rob Velasquez brought the pain at his bootcamp, Alyssa Pannzoii, Marguerite Lee, Mike Pannozzi, Stephanie Dumenigo, and Clyde Simms with REVD Cycling, B/SPOKE Instructor Ky Bernard and Trey Kamb and Christiania Mooch, Big Night Fitness Instructor Conor Murphy, PMEF with Peter Mollo, JET Athletics Instructors Jillian Barnes & Gigi Ferrante were all there to motivate the masses.

A few highlights were Movement with Jill who brought the booty vibe to tighten up for the summer in her toning Pilates style session. The energy from the Sip & Strut Boston Walk + Tone could be felt all the way to the Garden! Shai and Leah, the sister instructor duo of Two Toned Training spiced things up with a strut and squat edition that marched around the docks. They were a sight not to be missed as they were popping around in the vibrant purple Cardi B line from Reebok.

This was not a morning for a kick back and stretch type of session, these instructors worked fitness goers to the core and then sent them upstairs to a floor full of Boston’s best recovery experts. This part of the expo was an athlete’s dream. It featured Gus Grip to keep those hands healed, Restore Newton with on-site compression, localized cryotherapy and cyrofacials treatments. Stretch Labs, DLD Brows with infrared red light and complimentary eyebrow threading. TULA PT with mini manual treatments, essential oils, Gua Sha, and cupping. North End Acupuncture giving adjunctive therapy. Seaport Med Spa was a hit with B12 Injections that left you feeling revived and renewed! Nourish Lounge and their snuggly sleeping bag for infrared sauna wrap treatments. Beamer PMEF therapy treatments, Dr. Brittany Zuback giving chiropractic adjustments. It was literally a perfect post workout of complementary services.

Tickets were all priced under $100 with the option of a VIP swag bag with donated goodies in a Reebok tote including Reebok Apparel, Good Wipes, Smart Water, BYREDO body wash and lotion, a Restore Newton coupon, subscriptions from JET Athletics and Jillian Rothenberg. Complimentary classes from B/SPOKE and REVD. A Gut Personal full size magnesium tub, Culture Pop, Raw Rev protein bars, Cure samples, Dunkin hot cards and a must have eyebrow brushes from DLD Brows. A Seaport Med Spa coupon, TULA PT service discount, Playa Bowls vouchers, BeBOLD bars and Procera Health full size focus & energy support supplements. A purchase with purpose!

Guests were also given a huge opportunity to liven up their wardrobe with 50% off in the Reebok headquarters store location. The fashion didn’t stop there as the company revealed the latest model within Reebok Floatride Energy running shoe franchise, The Floatride Energy 5. Chic, form fitting and paired perfectly with the marathon inspired blue Aston Martin ride parked right out-front courtesy of the Boston location.

The morning of health and wellness was a win and importantly a charity event to sponsor a cause that hits close to home. Boston Strong we are 10 years later! In honor of the 2023 Boston Marathon, Reebok and FIFTH Wellness teamed up with The Greg Hill Foundation a charity that heals. The Greg Hill Foundation is a local Boston nonprofit that responds to immediate requests for assistance, to improve the lives of local families touched by tragedy, through matching the charitable donation of Greg's media audience.

Almost 10 years ago, The Greg Hill Foundation was hosting its annual Boston Marathon Celebration at The Capital Grille on Boylston Street. What started as a celebration quickly turned into tragedy as the bombs went off. Just hours after the bombings, The Greg Hill Foundation launched an online fundraiser to support the victims and survivors of the Boston Marathon bombings. Immediately, donations began to pour in and within 48 hours the foundation started to visit victims' families and survivors to distribute donations. Within a matter of weeks, The Greg Hill Foundation raised and donated over $509,695.26 which was distributed to 61 different individuals and families. The Greg Hill Foundation continues to support the survivors by providing grants for expenses not covered by insurance.

The mastermind behind the event was organizer, Founder and Owner of FIFTH Wellness Kaitlyn McDonough. The inspiration came from the fact that the following week she completed her first Boston Marathon running for the Greg Hill Foundation. Kaitlyn’s initial Fit Fest welcomed in 585 attendees, booted sales for Reebok of $8,500 that morning and raised a heartwarming 10k for the Greg Hill Foundation! The charity event was a kick your ass success! To find out more about this fitness maven visit or to donate.
