In the past year, a new event started making a name in the scene, Mass Fashion Week. Produced by model and entrepreneur Meagan Michelle. Each time the full week filled affair rolls around there are multiple locations each with a focal theme from street wear to couture. Scene&Style made an appearance at the closing ceremony at The Vault in the chic chandelier lit evening.

The first three designers to show on the Mass Fashion Week runway were for all occasions,  gave vibes to every aspect from sexy beach wear, sporty and that classy men’s look for the office. First to hit the runway was Laurens Swim. It is always suit season when styled by this diva. Cape Cod inspired chic and sexy.

Pogiis Family followed with Sunday classics showed in a luxury men’s collection of dapper suits. Soft grays paired with pastel undertones for a masculine appearance. Blessed Envision, A line of exclusive varsity jackets with a “members only” trend gives that confidence of a CEO paired for a street style look.

More expression through fashion flowed, designing is more than just a dress. The next set of collections exuded pride in ethnicity, all body types, and the importance of that fine piece of jewelry. Art by Dani gave that classy sex appeal, seductive suit dresses, all white head to toe and tapered leathers showed in designer Dani “Self Canvas” collection. It celebrates individuality, merging bold colors, textures, and self-expression in a unique fusion of art and fashion.

Inskyn was focal on luxury Women’s and Men’s wear. Promoting body positivity, the designs were carefully crafted to flatter and empower diverse shapes and sizes, ensuring that everyone feels confident and comfortable in their garments. Awula K, a fan favorite of the show embraced African art through stunning pattern work in full length gowns celebrating tradition through contemporary fashion. Whirl Wind Jewels, The finesse of the finishing touch makes a solid statement with a good accessory of sparkle. Her pieces never disappoint for a chic accent to top off that outfit.

Color waves of mood were focal from the final designers to hit the Mass Fashion Week Runway and gave a unique expression with playful color pallets. Jeanne Marie Damico took her collection to a new height of sporty stylish. Literal Art from the Heart was canvassed in a trendy and contemporary line. Minikindesignz showed strategic handmade clothing, knit with couture care that’s caters to every demographic stunned. The designers mission is to get the world to appreciate a skill that cannot be duplicated with a machine but with the hardworking hands of people all over the worlds. Calle’s looks of casual comfort meshed with punk cuts and detailed hemming and sewn in accessories. Calle 11 derives from a kid looking to rove his childhood dreams as an adult. The name derives form the street and number of the home the designer group up in as child in the Dominican Republic. It’s a lifestyle “there no heroes on Calle 11.” Jeremy has been part of the Mass Fashion Week team since the beginning.

Following was Valentina, a collection that brings a unique voice to fashion with her innovative streetwear and bridal designs specifically created for queer femme individuals while being open to all who identify with her pieces. Her work is all about empowering people to express themselves freely and defy patriarchal norms. By celebrating and embracing authentic femme sexuality, she challenges the idea that women must cover up to be respected, as well as the notion within some feminist circles that dressing sexy is solely for the male gaze.

The closing collection on the mass fashion week runway was pure talent at its finest, literally a fantasy creation from Amazing Gowns and More. The elegant and impeccably tailored ball gowns were a breathtaking representation of high fashion and painted an illusion reminiscent of a royal wedding.

Mass Fashion Week had another hit on their hands. From the packed house, array of designers this is a not to miss event next May of 2025!
