Spring Summer Hair Trends 2017

As spring and summer approach, women are looking to change up their hair and their look. The top five hairdos of 2017 are inspired by celebrity and runway styles. The half-up half-down bun or “hun” has become the go-to style for this season. Hailee Steinfeld and Youtuber Zoella have sported the updo on the red carpet and the street respectively, showcasing this style’s versatility. Straight and sleek strands have also reappeared and can be paired with whatever suits the wearer, the options are limitless. To further prove that old trends are coming back, the classic ponytail has received a reboot. Celebrities like Ashley Graham have been spotted with their hair chicly secured at the top of their crown. The high pony can complete any outfit, day or night. The high double bun style of the 90’s just recently resurged at Coachella in 2017. While this ‘do looked great with festival attire, it would look just as cute paired with joggers or a bomber jacket. Lastly, accessorize, accessorize, accessorize. Clips, ribbons, or hair pins can instantly transform any outfit. Just ask Katy Perry.
