Carbon Concepts for Fall 2017

Carbon Salon in Boston’s Theater District brought a different take to Boston Fashion Week with holding Carbon Concepts showing the “Elements of Fall Beauty” bringing a runway right to the salon floor.

The evening began with VIP guests pouring in the door to tasty food and drink with time to mix and mingle before a warm welcome came from Producer Kathy Benharris. Kathy, who is also a client, testified she may not walk in like her strongest self but the staff has her leaving feeling super human. She continued with introducing MC for the event and Co-Owner Justin Robey also bringing on stage Matthew Waldron the other half of the debonair duo.

Once Dynasty, Model Club Inc. and Boston Models representation hit the runway MC Robey gave a full head to toe and tips on each look. Shown were; a modern pinup, autumn tones of undone textured fishtail braids, amped up teased and volume with a twiggy 60's inspired makeup stare, handbags by Oliver Thomas, body pieces from De La Becca, bracelets from Wear Your Music, leggings by Irina Gorbman and the funk flair of T*Racy chain link designs. Carbon Concept looks weren’t only for the ladies, gentleman took front and center with poise and styled with a round brush for a natural everyday appearance finished with an Oliver Thomas duffel bag that was from his unisex line.

Even when the fashion came to a close the night still wasn’t over. Guests got the opportunity to see live tutorials and grab tips on how to create Carbon Concepts at home. Master Stylist Lindsey Grenier showed that braids are always in style with a transformation in under five minutes into a full up do. MC Robey took it to the chair with giving client pointers on a quick curl to add volume and texture. The last lesson was on; find your flattering brow through shades and shaping.

The highly ranked salon paired with Benharris Productions for some of the hottest styles and must have for fall looks for an evening of success.
