An Infinite Evening of Coco Chanel

A grand fashion gala took place at the elegant ballroom in the Copley Plaza Hotel Boston. “An Infinite Evening of Coco Chanel,” produced by Olga Konstanzia Showtime was held in honor of her inspirational trip to a museum in London dedicated to the iconic designer. The event was hosted by Nick Yousif who was true in paying tribute to the celebration of Gabrielle Chanel.

The event began with fashions finest gathered in a royalty interior room with cocktails and red carpet photos. Once guests took their seats in the divine space runway opened.


The first collection of fashion came from the iconic brand Lalla Bee. Designer Melina Cortes Mili married a chic European midnight vibe with lace, velvets, and hand beaded structure. Each piece showed true to the designer’s class and couture reputation. Looks were also paired with divine head pieces that complimented the classic eastern appeal from designer Elie Jian Millinery.


Classic formal with pop was next to show on the Coco Chanel inspired runway was Vieira Luxe Couture’s collection “Le Fleur” from designer Dina Akel. The looks featured black, white, and bridal formal wear. Each of the pieces has a classic tone with strategic cuts and eye catching encrusted detail. It wasn’t all mute tones as a pop of a purple gown, a golden satin dress and all white with floral made their transformative statements.


Following were versatile everyday looks from Designer Tatyana Ayriyan paired with Carla Shaw Fashion Jewelry. The jumpsuit styles had wide leg flow, nude tones for that perfect office outfit. Piercing royal blue representing gowns followed showing sophistication and glamour for that VIP cocktail event. The full length looks were topped off with dazzling head pieces from Ellie Jian Millinery and sustainable jewelry from Carla Shaw Fashion.

Royal culture expression was a highlight on the runway from an emerging designer from the Mass College of Art and Design Zemfira. She showed a collection donning couture stitching, European inspired patterns with a Central Asian fashion flow. The pieces were reminiscent of true Chanel creation and exquisite art that this designer is the future of Boston Fashion. Zemfira was brought to the stage just prior to her collection showing to be honored by Boston Fashion Week Founder Jay Calderin with the Innovation in Fashion Award.


Closing the “Infinity of Coco Chanel” runway was a collection of breath taking bridal gowns from designer Colby John that painted an ivory frosted fairy tale. As seen in the pages of British Vogue, USA, Italy, Ireland, and Canadian boutiques this international sewing superstar shined bright through his work. Each piece was applied to as stunning detail to all white ensembles. The dresses reveled artwork of hand stitched beading, perfectly placed lace with sheet elegance and beauty all by brides aspire to have that special day.


The event was a high fashion celebration with a star studded list of attendees. The evening was a true testament to what Coco Chanel endured, elegance, innovation, and timeless style.
