Boston Barbie Glittered the Runway

Recently the sparkle of hot pink from Mel the Clothing paired up with Boston Man Magazine to take it poolside at the Omni Hotel rooftop in the Seaport for the 1st Annual Summer Pink Party.

When arriving there was no missing then fact you had just stepped into Barbie’s World! Parked out front the chic hotel was Barbie’s ride. Designer Mel’s dream had come true when to hype up the event Jason Louf from Swampscott Collision had remastered Mel’s convertible into a pink dream. Photos next to the classic car were a must, I channeled my inner football barbie look with the pink hot wheel.

Continuing up to Lifted Lounge is where Barbie’s Dreamhouse came alive. The city view, pool, cocktails, selfie stations, tasty treats from the Cake Monstah, banging beats from 617 Event Group and fabulous friends gathered for the anticipated 2023 Barbie Collection fashion show from Mel the Clothing and styled by Wave and Woven.

Opening the runway was a hot pink sheer swimsuit cover followed by every girl’s idol and every guy’s dream Barbie from Tik Tok, business, Boston, tennis barbie, cannabis, and more! Media barbie made her way played by local beauty and business Emcee Jenniffer Mariel Ruiz. Making an appearance was Ken in a Zack Morris beach fit that had all ladies reminiscing. Beat box barbie came rocking out by Gianna Gravalese Kiss 108 radio personality and the pool side show came to a close with mermaid barbie and her sexy seashells on mega model Madeline Adams.

Shortly after Owner of Boston Man Magazine took center stage for a major announcement. He and Amanda Vargus of Wave and Woven will be bringing the first ever Boston’s Runway Ball on December 3rd for a night of community, culture, and fashion in the grand ballroom at the Park Plaza Hotel. Proceeds will benefit “Toast to St. Jude” and St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, visit their social media for more information and tickets.

The evening ended with a new age performance on the electric violin from Rozita Fishta vibing in sync with DJ Jimmy Espo from 617 to all the beats and fireworks to make an iconic Barbie dance party.

The first annual summer pink party was a sparkling smash! Guests got to live out their Barbie fantasy and a portion of the proceeds were donated to the Miss Pink Organization to help support and fund resources for local pink warriors battling breast cancer.
