Hajjar Whirled SS22 Fashion Down the Marina Bay Boardwalk

Recently Designer Denise Hajjar showed the season’s must haves by her waterfront boutique and brought top entertainment to the Marina Bay Boardwalk at Eat. Drink. Model. It was the second annual fashion show fundraiser to benefit the Saint Mary’s Center for Women and Children.



The evening began with guest strolling into the sounds from DJ Denise LaCarubba and taking a seat at their VIP table where over four hundred seats were lined along the bay promenade. There was a sectioned off silent raffle with prizes ranging from a night out at a local restaurant, red sox swag right down to elegant jewelry. All items were donated by Boston’s top business and ticket sale proceeds went to giving the women of Saint Mary’s Center the help they need.


Denise has always been a well-respected designer with timeless and elegant looks however has a reputation for more than just fashion coming down the runway at her shows. An unexpected break out of dancing opened the night with Kemar Bennett and Essy Sosa from the Fred Astaire gliding down the boardwalk.


Then on perfect cue the fashion began to flow; stripes, floral and psychedelic patterns in full length dresses were a few the first SS22 looks to hit the runway. Ladies say hello to the weekend! The second set of looks featured button-down pinstripes in an array of colors and accessories with flare and a tote that alerted with “hello to the weekend.” The outfits showed causal looks, must have hats and handbags for the perfect Sunday stroll down the board walk.



The third set of looks were ones that have a fit for all. The Denise Hajjar Boutique and Marina Bay Living also carry unisex cloths for the mini me. The children’s collection had an adorable summer bay style theme. A full line of patriotic toned stars and stripes followed in transition sweaters from the fourth to the fall.

The final set of looks from the Denise Hajjar Boutique SS22 collection to hit the Marina Bay runway featured soft shades in floral, funk and tied died prints perfect for a Friday ensemble into the office or a Saturday afternoon cocktail affair. The last lap of looks is always a party filled with glamour, gorgeous models and family that have been with Denise for decades and are a staple in the city of Boston.


At the conclusion of the runway portion of the Denise Hajjar charity fashion show to benefit Saint Mary’s Center for Women, the organization honored a fashionable legend Yolanda Cellucci with the first ever Saint Mary’s Women and Children Inspiring Women Award. Yolanda is a woman that have given so much to many, led young women into careers and brought beautiful children into the world that are following in her inspirational footsteps.



Following the Inspiration Award given to the legendary Cellucci, Hajjar herself was honored and given a plethora of gratitude from the Saint Mary’s Center for Women with all she has done for the organization in her second fashion show to benefit the center.


The showstopper on the charity runway was designer Denise Hajjar herself grabbing her heels and closing the evening showcasing one of her talents by pairing up with Kemar Bennett and whirled down the runway in an extravagant ball room tango.


Designer Denise Hajjar is iconic for more than just her creations and charity runway shows. Her models are the best in the business, the crème de la creme guests and invites to the top media outlets. Always a chic and classy affair with plenty of party shenanigans! The evening was one to remember and a charitable success.
